“In him was life, and that life was the light of people.” ကို ကရင် (စကော) လို တၢ်မူ အိၣ်ဝဲ လၢအပူၤ ဒီးတၢ်မူန့ၣ်မ့ၢ် ပှၤကညီ အတၢ်ကပီၤလီၤ လို့ ရေးတယ်၊ ကြမ်းကြမ်း ဖတ်ရင် ta moo òh weh luh a poō däw ta moo này may phgā ga nyaw a ta ga pāw lāw လို့ ဖတ်တယ်။ Knyaw က စကားလုံးတွေ ဖတ်ပြီး နားလည်အောင် ကူပေးတယ်၊ ပါးစပ်နဲ့ ပြောအောင် မဟုတ်ဘူး။ ကရင်က အသံ အနိမ့်အမြင့် ရှိတဲ့ ဘာသာစကားပါ၊ ဒါကြောင့် အင်္ဂလိပ်စာလုံး အသံတွေက ကြမ်းကြမ်း အကူအညီ ဖြစ်ရုံပါ။
